DEAR FRIENDS,

REPORTING ON THE KNOWLEDGE PROJECT

THE TRUTH ABOUT CANADA

All Canadians can now see for themselves that Quebec has complete control of the Prime Minister, the Opposition Parties, and Parliament.

Leading journalists are warning about the disintegration of Canada. It is too late. The Prime Minister is elected from Quebec, relies on re-election from Quebec, and cannot now refuse anything to Quebec.

The so-called Opposition parties are seeking support in Quebec. They cannot criticize the forced bilingualism imposed on Canada outside Quebec. We now have a unilingual racist State as a province of Canada.

Quebec no longer needs independence. It can do whatever it wants, including trade trips with the Premier of France while Paul Martin, the Prime Minister of Canada, is greeted at the airport at Paris by an unknown Minister. And the Prime Minister can do nothing about it.

Nor can anyone do anything about the Federal institutions and the magnificent Museums that have been built in Quebec by a succession of Prime Ministers elected from Quebec. Most important is the fact that the National Archives of Canada is now in Quebec. Our national history is in the hands of those who have no loyalty to Canada.

That is why we set up the Knowledge Project to send my records in Government and in the Human Rights Institute of Canada to safekeeping at the University of Alberta Archives. They are essential. They include many aspects of human rights in Canada, but the most important part now is the research into the betrayals of this country by successive Prime Ministers. Canadians will not find this research in the secret documents of Prime Ministers and Cabinets.

You will see how our rights were taken away illegally. Canadians deserve a country based on truth and justice. There must be no more lies.

THE FALSE HISTORY OF CANADA

Where did the false history start? Who taught Quebeckers that they were a humiliated people and should get revenge by humiliating other people?

What was the "humiliation"? Many people think it was the defeat of the French on the Plains of Abraham, that lost Quebec. But that was only one battle between Great Britain and France in the Seven Years War.

The truth is that France handed over Quebec to Great Britain by the Treaty of Paris on February 10, l763. France abandoned Quebec.
Quebeckers used to regard that as the real humiliation .

How did Great Britain treat Quebec? With astounding generosity. The inhabitants of Quebec were free to stay or leave. If they emigrated, they had eighteen months to sell their property, take their belongings and go wherever they wished. If they stayed, they swore allegiance to the Crown, kept their lands , property and religion, and had equal protection of the English laws. They were totally free. That is the truth.

Watch for another Federal Government falsehood. That is the claim that Canada was established by two founding nations, French and English. It was not. It also leaves out the Indians, and the peoples who have come from around the world to build up this country. It is shameful.

CREATING A NEW CANADA

Ontario was always the Province that stood up against bullying from Quebec. That protection is gone. Ontario Governments have extended French rights without a referendum. Now it is in the process of making Ontario officially bilingual. Again without a referendum.

And Ottawa, the capital of Canada, is sliding away. It has been operating illegally as a bilingual city. The Ontario Government now intends to make it officially bilingual, again without a vote.

The only Province with the wealth and potential interest to make a difference is Alberta. It has repeatedly protested its exclusion from national policies. It should stop funding the Federal Government.

It could declare itself independent. That would start a major shift throughout Canada, to throw Quebec out of Canada and to have a Federal Government elected from the rest of Canada. It might even provoke resignations from the Ontario Government itself.

We cannot wait until the Federal Government and Quebec are negotiating the assets of this country.

Our Knowledge Project must be finished urgently. Important decisions are being made. They must be based on accurate history. We are asking for major financial support. We provide charitable receipts and welcome your help.

Sincerely yours,
Dr. M. E. Ritchie
